Enesco participates in the global giftware industry and serves more than 44,000 customers worldwide. The company designs and distributes products such as stuffed animals and coffee mugs for a variety of retail channels. In February 2007, Tinicum was the stalking-horse bidder to acquire Enesco’s assets out of bankruptcy. Enesco subsequently executed a number of add-on acquisitions. Tinicum exited this private position in November 2015.
