Forum Energy Technologies is a leading global manufacturer of mission critical, complex, stocked and custom oilfield products and related after-market technical services, for use onshore and offshore. In April 2012, Tinicum was invited to purchase Forum’s common stock through a private placement as an anchor investor in Forum’s IPO. As part of the transaction, a Tinicum representative was invited to join Forum’s board of directors. Tinicum exited this public position in May 2020.
