On April 4, 2002, Tinicum joined with management to purchase the assets of Palm Coast Data, a Florida-based fulfillment and response management company focused primarily on the magazine publishing industry. Services provided to customers included front end processing, customer service, direct mail services, letter shop services, and online communications. In April 2002, simultaneous with our acquisition, Palm Coast Data contracted with PRIMEDIA, a large publisher, to convert nearly all of PRIMEDIA’s titles to the company from another major fulfillment provider. On August 9, 2005, Tinicum sold Palm Coast Data to Allied Capital.
