On February 26, 2007, Tinicum acquired family-owned Plano in partnership with a family shareholder, who remained involved in the business throughout our ownership. During Tinicum’s ownership, the company completed three add-on acquisitions that bolstered Plano’s market share position in key outdoor product segments. In December 2012, Tinicum sold Plano to Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
